Most Nutrition experts recommend that you intake 25-35 grams of dietary fiber a day. Some even go as hi as to recommend 35-45 grams per day. You can see a list of how much fiber different food has on this page.

The recommended amount is 20-25 grams, in some cases more. A good source of fiber is broccoli.

Women
25 grams per day, for women younger than 50
21 grams per day, for women older than 50

Men
38 grams per day, for men younger than 50
30 grams per day, for men older than 50
