According to Logitech Knowledge Base Article, the MX Revolution mouse has a standby mode when not in use to conserve power. It is also recommended that the mouse is turned off if not being used for long periods of time.
Based on the above recommendation, you can leave the mouse on all the time and charge it as needed.

Does the Logitech MX Revolution have to be turned off to charge, or can you leave it "on" 24/7 and just put in cradle as needed?
