What I teach my students is that you have to make your OWN symbol/dream dictionary. What do Jellyfish mean to YOU? What do they represent?
I also teach that bad/scary dreams are simply your unconscious trying to get your attention. Something you REALLY need to be aware of.
Denise Linn (one of my gurus) suggests the following for "Jellyfish":
- Do you feel like you are just floating and drifting along?
- A jellyfish has no supporting inner structure. Are you acting spineless in some area of your life?

To see a jellyfish in your dream, represents painful memories that are emerging from your unconscious. There may be hidden hostility or aggression in some aspect of your waking relationship or situation. Alternatively, it may indicate feelings of inadequacy and a lack of self-esteem. Perhaps there is some situation in which you are unable to assert yourself."

Gosh... that is really general. I'd hate to base any kind of interpretation on that.

Wow, condescend much?
I'm not saying your answer isn't much (much) better. But when I answered, there were no replies and I didn't figure there would be.
I'll leave these questions to you from now on oh mighty dream analyzer!
Regardless, I've voted your answer up. I couldn't imagine there would ever be a better one.

If you take a look at the times we must have posted at almost the same time. The only difference was I used a block quote. There are no problems here as far as I am aware. It was just a matter of timing. It's not like I was trying to mess with you or anything. Coincidence. I also only hit one site mostly because I feel like crud. Feel free to research and expand on what was put up. I don't mind if a person has a better researched answer at all. In the process I learn too.

lol I know eh... I saw your answer after I submitted mine and was shocked that we had the same quote from different sites. Don't see how there could be any tension at all thelastcionspeaks.
Oh well, good thing for the doctor to correct us little folks.

Oh... and I DO appologize if I come across as condescending. I sometimes need to curb that and try to be a bit more humble. Sorry about that...

I could totally see some illustrations, maybe even some audio descriptions of what other people describe and of course some user contributed content.
I don't necessarily see how illustrations might be useful, but audio might be interesting... Hmmm...
