Does anyone know of a ham substitute that could be "chunked" like cubed ham? I'm dying to try a veggie version of grandma's ham pot-pie!

If you're looking for a ham substitute there is turkey ham.
• Turkey Ham is made from turkey thigh meat
that is boneless, frozen, and fully cooked,
which allows it to be eaten right from the
package if desired.
• Each turkey ham is individually wrapped and
vacuum packed to seal in freshness and
moisture. The wrapping should be removed
before serving.
• Each turkey ham weighs about 2 pounds.
There is also this from china... It's a vegetarian ham. It's the second picture listed.

There seem to be many "sliced ham" tofu substitutes, but I couldn't find a direct "chunked ham" veggie substitute.
The closest I could find is Tempeh.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempeh
It is soybean product similar to Tofu but harder in texture.
This might be a good substitute for you.
I also posted a link for Tokwa, another possible substitute.
Hope that helps!
