Does anyone know if you can open a etrade or other stock market account with $100 or less? Looking to get in on $1 and under stocks

Sharebuilder doesn't have an account minimum so you can certainly open an account that allows stock trading with only $100 or a few hundred.

However, when considering stocks with very low share prices, you may not be considering brokerage fees. Typically there is a $9.95 minimum fee per transaction which will quickly eat a huge amount from your total investment amount.
