does anyone else was thinking of Jar Jar Binks while watching the Avatar Trailer? (Na'vi = blue Gungan)

Heh, yeah, both are CGI characters indeed. Other than that, no.
Gungans don't have a tail, and don't speak realtively normal English. The Na'vi are more like the the people on Geonosis (blueish, slim, gracious) than the Gungan (huge ears, clumsy, hard to understand or bear).
