I would have said no but, after researching, apparently you can -- for removing mildew and such:

A small amount of bleach mixed with water can be used to remove mildew from floors or some stains. For best results use water and bleach sparingly on your hardwood floors. Regular cleaning of hardwood floors should be performed with a broom or a dry mop.

It looks like you can also use it directly but should neutralize it with vinegar (which may also be used as a more regular cleaner):

Use vinegar to neutralize bleach after the bleach is used to clean a stain. Apply bleach directly to the stain and let it soak, preferably overnight. Then apply vinegar to the stained spot to neutralize the bleach.

Overall, the most important message seems to be not to let anything SOAK into the wood!

I would think not because the chlorine would probably eat through the hardwood stain. Test it in a small corner where no one would see.
