I LOVE butterflies. They are beautiful, light, flitter through the sky, day and night. Pollinating plants, breathing in perfume, eating little bugs, and generally looking quite beautiful. Organic gardening encourages them to come and to stay. Chemicals would surely kill them, and any future generations of butterflies.
They love our flowers, yarrow, roses, and little water pools.

I love these, but they are not around our place.

These are gorgeous blue ones. I wonder if they are real?!

The Ulysses butterfly (Papilio ulysses), also known as the blue mountain butterfly, is a large Australian swallowtail. The Ulysses butterfly has a wingspan of about 14 cm (5.5 inches). It lives in northeastern Australia along the coast of Queensland.
I spent hours/days as a child in the meadows/woods near my house chasing butterflies. Here are a couple of my favorites from the UK, a Red Admiral and a Peacock.
