Next Question
Go to your del.icio.us page, go to Bulk Edit in that little menu in the upper right hand corner.
Check the "Select all" box over to the left, right above where all your bookmarks show.
Look up a tad and click on "Do Not Share".
Now, repeat for all your bookmarks.
Remember to click the "do not share" option every time you add a new bookmark that you want private :)

Yes, you can make a bookmark private on Del.icio.us, there is a "do not share" box that needs to be checked, this ensures only you can see that bookmark. http://www.flickr.com/photos/33749589@N07/3395124027/
