It's a snapshot of a memory: It's the day we moved into our new house, and I was sitting just inside the doorway of my new bedroom while a bunch of people were moving stuff in. I was seated next to a plastic milk crate full of my books and my Kermit the Frog plaque.
I was 18 months give or take.
I don't remember anything *happening*, per se, but I remember feeling very content and interested with the situation - not scared or worried, or even excited or curious.
The next memories that actually happen "in motion" don't come until I'm 2-3 years old.

My next memory is the morning of the Challenger explosion, watching TV and wondering why my mom was crying.

I remember being at my grandmother's house in the spare room and crawling all over him, feeling content, But I only really have memory of the feeling I felt and the tunnel vision I could see. Sometimes I wonder if it is a memory at all, or just a memory my mind concocted over time.

I remember the day my mom found out that she was having a baby boy (my brother). I was about three and a half at the time. Interestingly enough, my memory is generally pretty bad, but that moment I remember; her sitting at the corner, talking on the phone to her doctor. My next memory is the morning of the Challenger explosion, watching TV and wondering why my mom was crying.

My first memory is my only memory of my great grandfater, who faught in WW2 and had a hook in the place of one of his hands. He died when I was 3. I remember being at my grandmother's house in the spare room and crawling all over him, feeling content, But I only really have memory of the feeling I felt and the tunnel vision I could see. Sometimes I wonder if it is a memory at all, or just a memory my mind concocted over time.

I'm not sure because I have heard many stories of certain events that happened to me when I was very young and I think I might have remembered, BUT did I really remember the event or just THINK I remembered and pieced it together by the stories I have been told about it? I do recall when I was about 2 years old my brother piled all my toys on top of me while sitting on a chair. Why I remember that? I don't know but all that was exposed was my face.
