Table salt is sodium chloride or NaCl.
What we commonly call sugar is chemically known as sucrose which is comprised of a molecule of glucose connected via a glycosidic bond to a molecule of fructose. The sucrose chemical composition is C12 H22 O11 (the numbers should be subscripted).
