It's a solid lump of something. It could be solid lump of chicken and god knows what else served to you in a McDonalds meal, it could be a big lump of gold you find when sifting through a riverbed, or some small but powerful words of advice.

A "nugget" of gold is a small piece of gold found by a miner in a raw form in the outdoors - either in river or mine environment.
A "nugget" or "nug" in a horticulture sense could refer to a colorful, dense, beautiful piece of marijuana - a wonderfully productive specimen that provides enough material for several waterpipe sessions between friends or enough to roll a thick, tight marijuanna cigarette. If the "nugget" is big enough, you may be able to roll a "fatty", a marijuanna cigarette of amazing proportions - large enough to share with everyone around with enough to share.

A "nugget" to my knowledge has a food connotation, a fine metal meaning and a horticulture meaning as well. The food answer is related to the recoalescing of processed poultry or other soy material into lightly breaded golf ball sized edible onsies. Commonly deep fried and served with condiments including ketchup, mustard, BBQ or the sauce of choice. A "nugget" of gold is a small piece of gold found by a miner in a raw form in the outdoors - either in river or mine environment.
