Go to Joe's Restaurant on Abbott Kinney, and get the tasting menu.

It's really lovely, the food is amazing, and I've worked under Chef Joe when i was in culinary school. He's awesome.

Sorry, I haven't personally been to where you are right now. However, I have a restaurant reviews site that I really trust. Take a look at it, and find your specific area. I gave you the link to their homepage, not to any specific town, as I didn't figure out exactly where you are.
