Well first of all if either of you are under 18 and the other over and someone files a complaint love isn't goin to mean a thing when the "adult" gets hauled off to prison and has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his/her life. Thats provided sexual activity has or will take place.
If you or this other person is close to legal age I would recommend waiting it out love can wait a few years, if its really love. There is no crime spending time together though. I would see where a friendship took me.
If the age difference is something like he/she is 40 and I am 77, well there is no law against that I say go for it and have fun!

I don't think age matters when it comes to love either, but respect the law; it's there for a reason. If you truly love the guy, you don't want him to get in any kind of trouble so don't tempt him, or let him tempt you, into doing something that could put him in jail and wreck your futures. If it's meant to be, it will be worth waiting for.

I'm in love, the guy knows it. I'm not sure what to do. There is a law because of the age difference. What do I do?

I'm assuming he's older? You don't really say. I don't think age matters when it comes to love either, but respect the law; it's there for a reason.
