Besides the phone... what is the difference btwn the iPhone and iPod Touch?

The iPhone (especially the new 3GS) has the ability to connect to the internet over the 3G network. So you dont need to be near a wi-fi hotspot to browse the internet or access the app store.

The iPhone has a camera and can now do video recording and editing without a jailbreak needed.

The compass feature is new as well and it integrates into google maps to orient you wherever you are.

The iPhone 3GS has voice activated calling, music handling, and so forth.
