Would a new Evenflo carseat be compatible with an old Evenflo stroller?

The carseats snap into the strollers, but our stroller is 8 years old,
and we're buying a new carseat. Will it still be compatible?

Probably not, we tried this with a set that only had a 3-year gap and it didn't work. I know it's not what you wanted to hear though. :-(
