The book about the guys that went to the moon was about the Apollo lunar missions of the 60s and 70sand was called Moondust: In Search of the Men Wh Fell to Earth... beyond that I was able to find minimal information about him online:

"Andrew Smith has worked as a critic and feature writer for the Sunday Times, the Guardian, The Observer, and The Face. He was born in the United States and lives in Norwich, England."

Although published in 2005 it seems to be out of print? Amazon lists only used copies. Any opportunity for republishing digitally as an ebook?

Hmmm, another case of a moron tagging everything as non-helpful. Thanks alot. Even if mine was less helpful, both Keith and Nadi had valid info with links. I don't expect Spoon did that (doesn't seem like purple belt behavior), so I wonder if he's got a fan in the audience...

I certainly hope someone that would be my "fan" wouldn't go through and tag everyone else that answers on a question as "not helpful". I really hope Mahalo considers adding a section on peoples profile that shows how often they click "helpful" and "not helpful"... that way we could see who over does things. Thankfully, Mahalo will be using those kind of stats when they review people for higher belts, so if someone that is currently a purple belt clicks not helpful too often it might hinder their advancement to higher belts.

Andrew Smith is the author of Moondust : In Search of the Men Who Fell to Earth, which tells the story of the twelve U.S. astronauts who journeyed to the moon from 1969 to 1972.

You can read his thoughts in an interview by channel4 here:
