The Green Building Rating System is the rating system that is used by the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) to help certify that buildings meet nationally accepted design, construction and operational benchmarks.
So, guess, to answer your question, there really isn't any difference between LEED and the Green Building Rating System.

The Green Star system is used in Australia. Buildings that follow the star system are awarded stars ranging from 4 to 6 stars. In the USA we use the LEED ratings system where building's are awarded certified, silver, gold, and platinum ratings.
