Well, she wasn't really the problem in the first two movies. The problem was bad writing. The director of the first movie decided he didn't need a screenplay. He was wrong. The second movie was sort of okay, but not good enough to save the franchise. Angelina Jolie did the role well enough. She looks right, and has good physical action abilities.

However, I still think it's good to re-start the franchise without her. The first two movies will hang over any attempt to do another Angelina Jolie version of the Laura Croft. I'm not the first person to think of this, but I vote for Rhona Mitra. She was bad-ass in Doomsday, and she has a legitimate connection to Laura Croft.

Finding it extremely funny. She did well in the first movie as she has in many others. I however am sick of publicity of he . She needs to stay home with all her adopted kids and her homewrecked husband. Because if she does do another movie, possibly no more brangelina and a new baby on the way, by some hot villian.
