No Dr. Seuss is not a doctor. He started out as a cartoonist!

Interesting question! Nope, he was a writer and a cartoonist. His real name is Theodor Seuss Geisel and Dr. Seuss is his pen name. He was born on March 2, 1904 and died on September 24, 1991.
