You might want to try Riven, it is the sequel to Myst. Here's a site that talks about it http://www.geocities.com/p_aarli/main.html
Other similar adventure games:
-The Last Express
-Obisidian (by Rocket Science)
-The Curse of Monkey Island (by Legend Entertainment; Salon.com calls it "one of the best adventure games of 1997")
Here is a list of Infocom Adventure games you can play online: http://www.xs4all.nl/~pot/infocom/ you might want to try a few and see which ones you like. (Apparently Zork is very popular, but I don't know how similar it is to Myst.)
Because you like Infocom, you might want to check out their website: http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/
Also you might want to check out adventure games by Activision, they took over Infocom.
Text Adventure games are also called Interactive Fiction. The Interactive Fiction Archive has tons of information:http://www.ifarchive.org/
Other well-known companies: Adventure International, Legend Entertainment

Text Adventures like Myst
Hi,
Which of the Infocom text adventure games is most like Myst?
I'm looking for a text adventure game (Z-code) with logic based,
interelated puzzles (ala Myst) rather than inventory combination (use
ink with pen). I'd prefer something from a well known publisher such
as Infocom.
Cheers,
Dave

• Very good general background on both the Myst and Infocom series of games. Unfortunately no direct answer to my real question but some good leads that I can follow up. Cheers.
