Hotmail has more than 200 million users visit their website each month, so you must expect some problems to occur on their website.

Often, Hotmail may suffer from crashes or will be temporarily down to install a new program or facility onto Hotmail. Windows Live Hotmail was closed for two hours recently, when they allowed users to have memory that increases as you have more storage on your Hotmail account.

Often, when there are too many people on at the same time, it can be slow. Try going on Hotmail at different times to the evening - either early in the morning or late. If you constantly need Hotmail - it is worth having a fast computer and just waiting until it is available to sign in.
