Unfortunately, there are a number of variables that are left out of your question. Your age. His age. What does "like" mean (does he want to have sex with you, or does he want a long-term relationship, or does he want to be your friend)?

Because I don't know your age, I guess the answer would vary. Are you already friends? Is there a mutual friend you can ask? When you talk to him, does he try to keep the conversation going or ask your for your opinions? These are good signs. Maybe he 'accidentally' runs into you or goes out of his way to see you...?

Different guys show different signs about how they feel about a girl. For example: some might become more shy, or some might become more outspoken. I'd suggest paying attention to the way he acts around other girls you know he just sees as friends, or ask your friends the way he acts around them. And sometimes, guys don't show any signs - so you might have to just have a chat and see how he feels.
