It looks like the Cubs are being sold by the Tribune company to the billionaire Ricketts family, the founders of TD Ameritrade

The Chicago Cubs are currently negotiating with Tom Ricketts on a potential $900 Million deal for the Cubs. The could take months before it's settled.
