Franklin Delano Roosevelt. 32nd President of the US. The only president elected more than twice. What would you ask him?

I would ask him, "Why, after the complete destruction of our Air Force at Pearl Harbor, did you not immediately order MacArthur to move the Air Force in the Philippine Islands south before the Japanese could destroy them also? You had 24 hours to do so."

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would ask him how difficult did his handicap make his day to day life. And did it ever distract him from the job as President.

I would want to know how Franklin Delano Rossevelt dealt with his vocal right wing opponents in the media such as Charles E. Coughlin. In a way similar to popular radio and television commentator Glenn Beck, right wing Coughlin was the leader of the Christian Front and a catholic priest, Coughlin as well was a antisemitic opponent of Rossevelt and displayed his views and disdain of the President on his radio broadcast show.

If FDR were to be able to be alive and witness the events of the day I would like to ask him if the could see the parallels between his administration and the current one. In this same conversation I also would like to ask what advice he would give Barack Obama in avoiding a world war as the United States and the rest of the world arise from the current economic times.

I would ask why the gas chambers in Auschwitz were not bombed since the U.S. was already bombing nearby factories.
