For promoting your website on Facebook, what is better Groups or Pages?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think creating a 'Page' would be a better way to go. I think the use of 'Groups' has steadily gone down, while I've seen more and more website, companies, athletes, musicians, etc. starting up Pages where they can post updates, images, etc.

Also, a benefit of a Page is that when you make a news update, it shows up on the user's notifications when they log in, whereas changes to a Group don't work that way.
