That would be the 1988 49ers with a season record of 10-6.

1. The 1988 San Francisco 49ers and 2007 New York Giants both had a 10 - 6 record and won the Super Bowl.

2.Statisically speaking, the '88 49ers won the Super Bowl after finishing the season 10-6 and a division title (SB XXIII beat Cincy 20-16.)

If you want the worst record for the Super Bowl losers that would be the '79 Rams (9-7; lost to Pittsburgh 32-14 in SB XIV)
