What are the five best football teams that never won the Super Bowl?
Off the top of my head, the first two that come to mind are the Buffalo Bills of 1990-1993 and the Philadelphia Eagles of 2001-2004. The Bills made four straight Super Bowls and were the dominant AFC team for the first part of the decade. The Eagles of a few years ago had great talent, consistently going deep in the playoffs. Once they had T.O. they made it to the Super Bowl but fell three points short.

Those are two good answers.
Along with those, I would add the Fran Tarkenton era Vikings, and the Culpepper-Moss Vikings, although that wasn't much of an era. The fifth one would have to be Dan Marino's Dolphins of the early 1980s.

I agree with the Vikings from those two eras. The 98 Vikings went 15-1 and had the best offense of all time until last year's Patriots. I don't consider the 2007 Patriots part of this list since they have won 3 Super Bowls in the same Brady-Belichick era.
The Eagles get another chance this year.
