Although I think that moving the Pro Bowl to the Super Bowl location is a good thing, I do not care for the week before the Super Bowl idea.
Moving the location will help with ticket sales and allow people in other areas to enjoy the game live, which is awesome. The problem comes with the date. One week before the Super Bowl means players in the Super Bowl likely will choose not to play out of fear of injury or being a distraction to the team, making some of the best talent in the league unrepresented. This also brings up a debate as to if players in the Super Bowl decline to attend the Pro Bowl, should they be suspended or fined, just as the NHL did this week for two Red Wings that decided not to play in the All-Star Game.
Overall, I agree with the decision to move the Pro Bowl location, but disagree with moving the date.

The week before the Super Bowl? I think this is a huge mistake. Those players that are going to compete the next week won't bother showing up. Contractually they probably can't even show up because they have to be ready for the real game.
Just my 2 cents.

Should the Pro Bowl be moved from Honolulu, Hawaii to another city?
The Pro Bowl could be blacked out on television in Honolulu if remaining tickets are not sold 72 hours before the February 8 game. The NFL already announced the 2010 Pro Bowl will be played in Miami 's Dolphin Stadium a week before the Super Bowl. It this a good thing? What are the pros and cons?

First off who cares if it's blacked out in Honolulu? It's such a small market anyways many people want to watch it on TV not in person anyways. And most people don't want to even watch it they just want their player to make it to it. The week before the Super Bowl? I think this is a huge mistake. Those players that are going to compete the next week won't bother showing up. Contractually they probably can't even show up because they have to be ready for the real game.
