Overall it was a great hit. You can't blame him for bad officiating as he was just trying to protect himself. Officials are part of the playing field and have been taking shots for years and getting injured in the process. I think mainly it speaks wonders for the Rams season overall. A conditioned athlete in full pads getting taken out by a 50+ year old official with a hat and a whistle...

Good officiating. So many times we see an official get demolished and this time he took care of himself. When will the officials learn to get some type of padding or protection? At least a helmet of some sort in case they hit their head.
