Of course everyone is going to have their own likes and dislikes.
I usually use one soft avocado. If its not soft, place it in a brown paper bag over night and it will become softer. Then:
Half of a lemon or lime (depending on what you have)
2 cloves of garlic minced
1T red onion minced
1T sour cream - this is used to just make it creamier but its negotiable!
1T of jalapenos or other HOT peppers minced
1/2 Roma tomato
2T Cilantro - More or less depending on you. These should be chopped or chiffonade. I like to chiffonade and then cut that in half into smaller pieces.

My favorite way is to mash some of the avocado(s) and chop some. I use some olive oil, pepper, cilantro, chopped red onion and tomato. To add that extra little touch, I throw in some craisins (dried cranberries).
(I have to give a shout out to the awesome restaurant here in Phoenix, where they will prepare your guacamole table-side, and from where I borrowed the craisin idea from: Barrio Cafe (barriocafe.com)!)

Ingredients:
5 avocados
½ cup of finely chopped cilantro
A pinch of salt
A blender or bowl
Plastic wrap
First take the 5 avocados, and peel the fruits and take out the stone of the fruit.
Then in a bowl put the avocados (peeled and pitted) and here you can either mash the fruits with a fork until you get a homogenous pulp or you can put the avocados in a blender and blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
Then add the cilantro and stir the mix a little. At this point let it stand for 25 minutes with a plastic on top of the bowl, and then it is ready to be served.
