Just the very mention of this questionable culinary creation makes my heart hurt! I can't help but envision a big ball of butter being thrown in to a deep fryer and whatever doesn't melt in the grease is left for consumption. I'm having a hard time holding back a dry heave as I write this! LOL
No, I don't think I could be so mean to my arteries much less my heart by partaking in this so called State Fair snack.

However I am a risk taker with a passion for butter and the foods it accents well so yes I would love to try some deep fried butter.
It sounds deliciously messy and I would bet it is a big hit at state fairs and the like.

If it tastes like a buttered roll or croissant, well, we have buttered rolls and croissants that already fill that niche nicely.

Would you try Deep-Fried Butter?
From the man that brought us fried coke and Texas fried cookie dough comes deep fried butter! Abel Gonzales Jr. takes butter, injects it with flavoring, covers it in dough and deep fries it. It's in contention at the Texas State Fair for best new fair food.
Apparently it tastes like buttered toast, but with the artery-clogging nutritional values, would you try it?

I would give it a shot. Deep-Fried Butter sounds unhealthy but delicious. Fried cookie dough is good and so is fried ice cream. I would definitely be willing to try it.

No. I don't like butter. Now deep fried peanut butter I might try. He invented deep fried coke? Hm. I wonder if I'm too late to invent deep fried beer? That should be a lot more appealing to us adults. I checked. I'd be second at best.

Suicide by butter, that's creative. However I am a risk taker with a passion for butter and the foods it accents well so yes I would love to try some deep fried butter.

No way. I don't like butter much anyway, and deep-frying it sounds so far into the realm of parody that I can't believe it isn't from The Onion. It isn't like it's some ages-old gourmet food that just happens to be high in fat and calories (TO SAY THE LEAST), either. The guy just made it up to shock people and get publicity. It literally did not exist before. If it tastes like a buttered roll or croissant, well, we have buttered rolls and croissants that already fill that niche nicely.

I think I would try it if I had a chance. I don't know who would cook this kind of thing. I would not attempt it in my kitchen. I'm sure not going to do it in front of my wife. She thinks I'm off already and this might push her over the edge. Notice I said do...and not taste. I actually just want to see what it looks like and feel the texture and smell it....If its what I think it would be then maybe I will taste it.
