I would offer butter for sure, just because there are people who expect it and don't really want other flavorings.
Then, I'd think about at least one savory and one sweet.
For the sweet, I'd suggest the Apple Cinnamon. I'm not sure how well chocolate will come across on popcorn. Maybe you could order a small container and try it.
For the savory, I'm thinking Ranch. It's one of the most popular flavors for everything else! White cheddar popcorn is fairly common and not that different from cheeseballs, really. But Parmesan and Garlic sounds like a good second choice.
Then, if you want to hit the extreme crowd, Jalapeno. There is a sort of fraternity of people who like really hot things, and although this is not really that hot, they'll probably go for it anyhow.

The extra flavor is a godsend for her since she had gastric bypass and can't handle much other snacks.
She also uses popcorn seasonings to put a little zest onto her soy nuts.

-The aforementioned Bacon.
-Gravy. I mean like good, salty, pot roast gravy. I'd pour gravy into a bowl of popcorn and eat it with a spoon if they had it at the theater.
-What about a ultra smoky sharp cheddar? It's next seasons Cheese to be!
-Plain old black pepper.

I like Sour Cream & Onion. I'd also give Ranch and Nacho Cheddar a try. Of course, Butter is my favorite, especially if it makes my popcorn taste like they make it at the movies! I'm have a salty tongue, though. I understand over half of people like sweet tastes on their popcorn.

I'd immediately say no to carrying the kettle corn because too many others offer it and I would think you would want to get business more from the novelty stand-point. I know that when I'm at a fair I want to try foods I wouldn't normally be able to find. I'd go with the sour cream and onion because a lot of people like that flavor on chips and would probably say to themselves "hey that might be good on popcorn, let me try that."
The other one I would have to pick as much as I love anything cheesy, would be the chocolate marshmallow because at holiday time a lot of people make popcorn balls with chocolate chips and marshmallows and those are yummy, and then you've turned a snack food into a dessert.

Parmesan and Garlic I had some cracker with this seasoning and I love it.
Ranch and Sour Cream & Onion I love on anything.
Jalapeno and Cajun the spicy and full flavor I would enjoy.
Apple Cinnamon just love apple and cinnamon seasoning and have tried on many different things, I think it would be delicious on popcorn. Good luck with your new seasoning!

I would pick barbeque, white cheddar and chocolate marshmallow. I love barbeque chips and I've had barbeque popcorn and tastes great. White Cheddar also seems like it would taste great on popcorn. The chocolate marshmallow combination goes well together and I'm sure it would go well on popcorn too.

My fiancee LOVES ranch popcorn flavoring. She's tried a couple different flavors (including Garlic & Parmesan and white cheddar) and ranch is by far her favorite. The extra flavor is a godsend for her since she had gastric bypass and can't handle much other snacks.
She also uses popcorn seasonings to put a little zest onto her soy nuts.

If you are going to stick with three, you have to have at least butter and caramel. They are pretty much the basics/standard flavors. I would then go for the most popular of the others. To be honest, I wouldn't be interested in the other flavors at all - which would turn me off to have a just choice of plain or the other flavors.

I would get down with White Cheddar, Carmel and Parmesan and Garlic, I also think you should contact the seasonings manufacturer and suggest adding a few choices that that may seem unorthodox but might just be the next generation of snack flavoring.

Well I think you should have one basic for those who aren't too adventurous in their food ordering, but might bring along a friend who is willing to try something different, so that would mean offering butter, and then have 2 unique flavors. I'd immediately say no to carrying the kettle corn because too many others offer it and I would think you would want to get business more from the novelty stand-point. I know that when I'm at a fair I want to try foods I wouldn't normally be able to find.
