Truffles are grown in most states ( Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and New South Wales ) and local supplies are getting better.
If you are buying in bulk they are the group to contact.
There is a Truffle Festival in Canberra ( they had the first in June this year ) so if you can get to it they will help you learn more about truffle growing and cooking!
