From what digging I've done, it seems that while there are several places offering reviews of Matcha Kit Kats, I've found only one U.S. based company that's selling them, and that's J-list.

While J-list sells tons of snacks and bento accessories and photobooks and anime and such, they also sell adult Japanese videos and games their site, so don't get suspicious when they ask for an age verification. The naughty stuff isn't out in front, it's simply available from the site, so don't surf to this site from work.

Also, should you order, note that most of their items are shipped from Japan, they're sort of simultaneously based out of both Japan and San Diego, and the site is definitely geared to Americans.

Cochese - That is pretty close but those are the Tiramisu ones. You can see Jason holding one up in this photo: http://calacanis.com/2009/02/12/green-tea-kitkats-hand-delivered-by-masaru/

Crud. I did a bit of internet research and couldn't find any kind of Green Tea Kit Kats other than the Green Tea Tiramisu ones. Heck, even the candy blogs only reviewed the green tea tiramisu ones. That is indeed frustrating. I'm really sorry about that, my Google Fu has failed you. :(

It is possible that they are no longer available. I ordered these from J-list/J-box.com a few years ago, so I know they (not the tiramisu ones) were at one time sold there.

Remember, Japanese companies are notorious for ***!!!LIMITED EDITION!!!*** flavors & styles as a marketing ploy. A Japanese acquaintance of mine says that putting out limited edition anything practically guarantees increased sales in Japan.

But I'm holding out hope they're still out there....
