I want pictures! Well, you know what they say, "don't ask, don't tell"!
Seriously, there are a few different kinds. Amazon has a spinning stand that is primarily used for decorating cakes but, I suppose, the spinning also would make it easier to slice while seated.

If you need a lid -- don't want any desert dust getting in the cake, I suppose -- here is another one:

There are several others on the site that are fancier and one with a stainless steel base but I'm guessing one of these would suit your needs!

Where can I buy a plastic cake stand? I want to buy one to send out to the boys in Afghanistan (they've been having tea parties!)
