I am hooked on Iced Green Tea. Apparently green tea is packed with antioxidants. I don't like making it myself--I have no time to actually wait for water to boil. I love the Arizona brand and flavors (especially the ginseng one.)

Also, iced teas tend to be more refreshing to me, especially if there is a little bit of squeezed lemon in them.
My Mister swears by an ice cold cola (coke brand) after a hard day of working in the yard, mowing the lawn and suchlike. Normally he drinks diet soda, but he says that there is something special about a fully sugared soda after a hard day's work.
If you really want to get unique, back in the day (middle ages Europe) they used to mix water with strong vinegars. Possibly carbonated water if you have it. Modern tastes usually require a little bit of sugar or honey to balance the bitter flavor.
What I'd suggest to you is club soda with lemon, possibly tonic water (has sweetener and a bitter additive), or on occasion, a regular soda.

What's the most refreshing beverage?
I'd like to stay away from sodas, so if a soda is your answer you can put it but try to come up with something else too.
I'd prefer beverages other than "water," but anything else is fair game.
Thanks!

I've found that a little bit of carbonation helps to make a beverage more refreshing. So, club soda, to me, is more refreshing than water. Also, iced teas tend to be more refreshing to me, especially if there is a little bit of squeezed lemon in them.

I got bored with the everyday beverages so I started making my own. Here in Hawaii, we have something called Luau artificially flavored syrup. It comes in orange, grape, fruit juice and passion fruit. I put 4 ounces of this in a quart container. Then I add water to the 32 oz. line. Then I add two cans of soda. I usually put fruit punch soda in with the fruit punch mix and so on. However, one combination that I like is grape mix and apple soda. This is really good. Since then, I have used blueberry pancake syrup to make a juice and I have located banana syrup and watermelon syrup. The last two syrups were designed for shaved ice or sno cones. I put these concoctions in 8 oz plastic bottles and leave them in the frig until they are cold.
