whats the best kind of candy to give out on Halloween?
answers (10)
There is a wide variety of candies, but check this out. I found an article this morning about it and I think it is great choice, interesting.
What about the Chocolate gold coins and Chocolate eggs, made from cocoa grown by farmers in Ghana. When you buy these chocolate bars, made of organic cocoa and sugar, you support small farm families in the Dominican Republic and Paraguay.

Whatever fits best into your budget and your beliefs. I give a variety of candy and mix in some Halloween pencils along with small, silly Halloween toys.
Here is a fun article on "The 10 Best Halloween Candies of All Time" and it includes a link to the worst ten as well:

You should give out the new dark chocolate reese cups, there delicious!
I like Reese cups as much as anyone, but having a kid with a severe peanut allergy, I stay away from them. My favorite Halloween candy is Laffy Taffy.
A kid's dream come true is you have a large assortment of big chocolate bars like Snickers, Hershey Bars, Three Musketeers, Milky Ways -- and they get to pick which one they want. You will see the same groups of kids multiple times, LOL! The ones who think they're clever will mix up their costumes between visits.

We fill 3 large plastic pumpkins:
mini 3 Musketeers
pretzel snack packs
gummy worms
We also cover a large shoe box with black crepe paper. We cut a hole on top big enough for the Halloweeners to put their hand in. Then we fill it with Halloween pencils, spider rings, and small bottles of bubbles. These are inexpensive and the kids enjoy the "reach in if you dare" option!

It depends on your pocket. But selecting peanut free candies will be good. Kids like colorful candies.

i give out fruit snacks or gummies wal-mart has a box of the it think its was 38 or 48 for like $5.00 but this year i am giving out toys. i don't know if you have this store or not but i get them at the dollar tree. everything is only a $1.00 i got balls for girls and football for boys and little kids like the 1 to 3 age i got them lanterns shape like pumpkins
I usually put healthy on the back burner when it comes to Halloween. Most kids seem to love the mini chocolate candy bars, such Hershey's and Milky Ways. I buy those, mix them all together, and put two in each bag. We don't get that many trick or treaters, so cost is not really a factor. I get Reese's for my husband's private stash.
