I like Ingenuitea's or is it the select tea company's line of products for functionality and looks. This picture is from Adagio, so I hope that isn't repeating what drmatt said above.
Also, for a teapot/strainer, I like this one: http://www.selectteaco.com/tea.html -- Look at the teapot infusor on the bottom left. It looks nice. You could leave it out (as long as you rinse out the leaves. :-)

I've heard good things about Adagio teas and their tea makers. http://www.adagio.com/teaware/index.html?SID=d5ed3fca4d7b4f05189dbba68301f195

You can look for an electric tea pot. I have seen them in white or metal, very simple and you can leave it on the counter. Check out this website for some tea pots: http://www.cooking.com/products/shprodli.asp?Keywords=tea%20kettle%20Electric&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.epinions.com%2Felectric_kettles%2Fskp_~1%2Fdl_~1%2Fsearch_string_~electric%2520teapot%2Fadv_search_~1
