What do you consider yourself, a foodie or a chowhound, and why?
Foodie: A person with a special interest or knowledge of food, a gourmet. Enjoys the best of the best.
Chowhound: A person who is on a passionate search for quality, whether dining in a four star restaurant or eating from a taco truck.
I consider myself a chowhound which tends to surprise people who know me. They feel that as a chef, I should only be eating pan-seared halibut, filet mignon, and veal cheeks. Granted, I do love those foods, but I also adore a good corn dog or bowl of chili. Price does not dictate what I enjoy eating and drinking.

Both! I like foodie gourmet stuff once in a while, but I love some nice comfort food too!
