Our bunch loves to eat! Here is the plans so far. We are having beef brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, corn on cob, pinto beans, hot rolls, German Chocolate Cake, Banana Pudding and whatever else someone brings! Lots of ice tea and a Easter egg hunt.

When I think of Easter, I think of a new outfit for Easter Sunday, an Easter basket full of sweets, and a day at church of singing some of the most triumphant hymns, like "He Arose (Low in the Grave He Lay)." It rivals Christmas in wonder to think of the Resurrection.

Somehow I never thought of Easter as a time for families to get together, but people in this area do, so we've been invited to someone's house after church since we have no family in the area. I don't know what they're serving, but everyone is bringing something. When I think of Easter, I think of a new outfit for Easter Sunday, an Easter basket full of sweets, and a day at church of singing some of the most triumphant hymns, like "He Arose (Low in the Grave He Lay)." It rivals Christmas in wonder to think of the Resurrection.
