It is good for the heart. It reduces the risk of heart attack.

Broccoli is highly rich in Vitamin A, C and K which leads to its anticancer properties.

It is also a potent modulator of the innate immune response system with anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-cancer activity. Thanks to 3,3'-Diindolylmethane.

Also it has been found to reduce risk of aggressive prostate cancer if taken in high amount.

But the medicinal benefits of Broccoli is greatly reduced if highly boiled for more than 10minutes.
