Looking for peanut free - peanut allergy safe frostings, candy corn, and red hots

I'm doing a project in my son's school and one of the kids is severely allergic to peanuts. I'm looking for brand name types of these foods which are safe. So far I *THINK* that betty crocker chocolate frosting is safe but I have not yet found anything that's solid. Also, most redhots and candy corn (while they don't contain peanuts) are made in factories that also use the equipment to process nuts of some sort. Any info you can provide would be helpful.

Hot Tamales (red hots) are peanut free and not produced on equipment with peanuts.

Candy Corns in general do no contain peanuts recipe wise, in that case i would just check the package to see if they are manufactured on equipment with peanuts, some are, some are not. The only brand I can source to you does not is Blue Berry Hill.

Pillsbury and Betty Crocker both make peanut free frosting.

Nice sites! We can replace the red hots with hot tamales. They are actually different. Red hots are little dots and hot tamales look more like good and plenty. We'd have to cut them up but they'd work just as well. Sweet :) TY

Shows what I know lol I don't like hot candy.. I assumed they were the same basic thing. I'll admit I've never had a red hot, I prefer mike and ikes to hot tamales. Mike and Ike is peanut free as well btw. :)

Good luck. on the project +10 mom points for caring about other children in the class's allergies btw.
