Yes. Pepperoni is made out cured and fermented pork. It can, however, be made of chicken and also beef. Pork pepperoni is what is most commonly found on pizza. It's also raw meat according to my source, which I didn't know.
Pepperoni does not come from a unique animal. So it's not "a" meat, but it is made from meats.
