Is bitter dark chocolate, the better dark chocolate?
Are the sweeter versions also good? Which one?

It depends on what you mean by better. If you mean taste, it is a personal thing. :-) I prefer dark. On the other hand, if you are talking about health benefits, the darker the better. The darker the chocolate the more antioxidents. In a double-blind study it was shown to lower cholesterol and blood pressure.
I personally do not know why these scientists were so surprised by this, I have been telling people this for years. :-)

Depends on what you are using it for. For instance sweet chocolate is good for just sitting down and eating but on the other hand bitter chocolate like bakers chocolate is way better for cooking.
60% cocoa or more is bitter dark chocolate. I eat everyday dark chocolate and feel much better than without chocolate. I used to eat chocolate before dinner. Better feeling and less food I consume after that.
