I'm considering making cupcakes with green icing for St. Patrick's Day. As an Irish person is that offensive or adorable?

I'm pretty sure that they're not offensive, but I won't go as far to say "adorable." How about "expected" or "appropriate"? The only thing I've heard that is offensive regarding St. Patrick's day is the common use in the U.S. of "St. Paddy's". An English person has informed me that "Paddy" is a slur to the Irish when used in his country.

The green icing is neither offensive or adorable. Nobody will care as long as it's icing and there's a cupcake underneath it!

I work at a nursery school and for snack today we served cupcakes with green frosting. I don't think it is offensive. It is festive for the holiday!
