Oh I would say so!
I haven't waited for any dire situations to come up. I must admit that I've killed a few myself! If the meat of the zombie is tough and old, I just let it sit in my smoke house until I have a tender jerky.
After killing a few off a few for sport and food, I'm partial to drinking a zombie too!
Zombie recipe
1/2 oz BacardiĀ® 151 rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 tsp sugar
2 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lime juice
Blend all ingredients with ice except Bacardi 151 proof rum. Pour into a collins glass. Float Bacardi 151 proof rum on top. Garnish with a fruit slice, sprig of mint and a cherry.
Serve in: Collins Glass

I was wondering if Zombies themselves are edible in a dire need for food? Is it possible to eat a dead zombie carcass?
Of course this is only if there is absolutely no other food available.

Yours is better. And your pic is not the exact opposite of the question. I too have a weakness for jerky. My sister Dex actually make a meatless zombie substitute out of reanimated grains and soy. We should trade recipes!
