Has anyone ever frozen biscuits in a can before?

Wondering if I can freeze Pillsbury biscuits and cinnamon rolls in the freezer without the cans exploding.

You can try it, but they may expand and pop open. You would be better off opening the sweet package, baking up the cinnamon buns and letting them cool. Once cooled, put the ones you did not eat (because who can resist a hot cinnamon bun?) into individual Zip-lock bags, squeeze the air out, and freeze them. You can save the frosting in the refrigerator. Should you run out of frosting, make your own with cream cheese and confectioner's sugar. Because Pilsbury always has coupons available at coupons.com and in the weekly paper, and they frequently go on sale, you don't need to stock up on them.

Hey,

You can freeze canned biscuits however Pillsbury recommends you don't:

Can I freeze the unbaked dough?
No. Freezing the unbaked dough may prevent it from rising when it is baked.

However, they do recommend that after baking, you should freeze the biscuits:

Can I freeze baked biscuits?
Yes! For best results, use within one month after freezing.
