Does anyone know of a stainless steel slow cooker AND a stainless panini press?

I'm NOT worried about the exterior - I want the interior to be stainless rather than the non-stick coating or glazed interior. The slow cooker with a stainless insert - a larger size if possible...and the bread press/panini maker the same. Stainless inside - anything on the outside.

This is a little late; however, William Sonoma has a slow cooker with stainless insert selling for $279. You can use the insert seperate from the cooker, one the stove-top or in the oven.

sipaok,

As to the slow cooker, I do no think there is any such thing as a stainless steel interior. Better slow cookers are crockery, although I do like West bend products. May I ask why you want the interior to be stainless steel?

Wish I could say yes. I did a long search this spring for a slow cooker. The one I picked does have a stainless exterior, but the interior is ceramic (and removeable). It also is programable, with a Keep Warm setting, a temperature probe, and seals spillproof for transport.

I do prefer stainless steel for my cookware and buy it whenever I can, but I don't think there is a stainless steel cooker made. In order not to consume inordinate amount of electricity, slow cookers need to be made of something that will absorb and hold heat well, and release it slowly. Ceramic is better than stainless at that.

I know there is some concern about lead in slow cookers. There is a good thread on the topic here: http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?t=789962&page=3

According to this thread and the one that is linked to it, Hamilton Beach doesn't use lead in their glazes. Mine is this one: http://preview.tinyurl.com/8qyppr
