Do NOT eat them. NEVER eat anything that has not been picked by a certified and experienced mushroom harvester, since appearances can be deceiving. This is a really big safety issue. It is not worth the risk.

If you want them that badly, call over a real mushroom expert and offer to give them a certain percentage of what they identify and harvest in exchange for advice. Or pay them.

People are dangerously wrong about mushrooms & related species all the time. Better safe than sorry.
